Audio Visual System Implemented
The system consists of a 10-inch touch panel and a mirrored iPad. The user can select from one of four input sources. These sources include a desk laptop, a room PC, a wireless sharing device, and cable TV. The desk laptop is plugged in through a docking station behind the desk. A wireless dongle allows the user to share content from anywhere in the room. Upon selecting Cable TV, the user is presented with controls directly on the touch panel or iPad. The selected source is sent to an 85″ TV located in the office. The system also incorporates audio and video conferencing, which lets the user make and receive calls from either the iPad or touch panel. A ceiling microphone and recessed speakers allow for call coverage in the entire room. Camera controls are also directly on the panel. These controls let the user configure the camera manually, or recall one of three saved presets.
As always, LogicWave is glad to help another Florida university with their audio visual needs.
